Description

Gell's Bedehouses, built in 1839, were founded by Anthony Gell in 1584 and constructed shortly thereafter. The building is made of stone and has two storeys. It features four three-light mullioned windows with early 19th-century casements, and three ledged doors set in chamfered reveals. There is a small inscribed panel, and the building has stone gabled ends and old stone tiles. A bronze plate is present to record restorations that took place in 1963.
