Description

Hulland Hall is a house dating from 1777, with a mid-19th century wing at the rear. Later additions have also been made. The house is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, and has plain tile roofs and brick gable end stacks.

The south front features three bays, with the central bay projecting. It is two and a half storeys high, with a stone coped parapet. A 20th century French door is on the left side. The windows have brick segmental heads, previously rendered, with two windows to the ground floor and three each to the first floor and attic, of decreasing height. They are fitted with glazing bar sashes.

The east front shows a break between the south and north blocks. The north block is mid-18th century and features a dentil cornice and thicker glazing bars. There were originally three brick eaves stacks; one was external and its lower portion remains. The east and west elevations contain glazing bar sashes, mostly with brick flat heads. The west front has a mid-19th century glazed wooden porch with lattice work.
