Description

This building, comprising numbers 38 and 40 High Street, dates to approximately 1845. Constructed of stone, it is a two-story structure featuring a central gabled projection. The facade is punctuated by six casement windows, arranged as 2 + 2 + 2, each with simple lintels. A recessed doorway provides access. The building has projecting eaves and stone stacks, topped by a hipped slate roof. Numbers 34 to 44 (even) form a group.
