Description
The former stables and coach house of Staveley Hall, dating from the 17th century, is a stone building. It features a two-storey coach house with one-storey stable wings on both the left and right that extend to the rear. The building has quoins at the sides. The coach house includes a doorway on the left with a stone segmental head that has been bricked up, along with a keyblock. There are various openings in stone surrounds, a stone stack, and old stone slates on the roof. This structure is part of a group that includes St John's Church, the Churchyard Cross, The School, Staveley Hall, and the Garden Walls of Staveley Hall.
