Description

The Nailers Shop at Number 8 is an early 19th-century small building located on Joseph Street, facing gable end to the street. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a tiled roof with a small end brick chimney. The building is single storey and includes a stable door and a window that open to the street. This shop is a rare example of the once prevalent nail-making industry in Belper.
