Description
Nos 2 to 16 (even) and No 20 Mill Street is a terrace of red brick houses dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, located on the south side of Mill Street. The houses are positioned on a hillside and are two storeys high. Each house has one window, except for No 2, which has two windows, including two shop windows. The doors feature cambered head linings, and the end elevation of No 2, which faces Green Lane, is rendered. This row of houses was formerly known as "Hedge Row" according to the Ordnance Survey map from 1879. No 20 appears to incorporate the former No 18.
