Description

Ecclesbourne House is a house built around 1845 in an Italianate/Tudor style. It is constructed of ashlar gritstone and features a low-pitched Welsh slated roof with bracketed gables. The house has ashlar chimney stacks with tall round shafts and moulded caps. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with gables at both the east and west ends, the latter of which projects. The central stone porch has a shallow gabled parapet and a doorway with a four-centred chamfered arched head, topped with a dripmould. The windows are casement style, featuring glazing bars and four-centred arched heads, also beneath dripmoulds.
