Description
The coach house and stables, located to the northeast of Swanwick Hall, date from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone with tooled stone dressings and features flush quoins. The building has a hipped slate roof topped with a central ogee domed cupola that has small paned glazed sides. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central bay has a segment-headed arch with double plank doors, which are flanked by a quoined doorcase also featuring plank doors. On either side of the central bay are blocked windows with plain surrounds. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes set in plain surrounds.
