Description

Strawson's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1788, although there are signs of an earlier building in the north gable end. The structure is made of coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof, complete with ridge and end stacks. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a five-window range, including four dormers. The central entrance has a 19th-century door and hood. To the left of the door is a two-storey 19th-century canted bay window. The other windows have cills and lintels with flush keystones, and the 19th-century sashes do not have glazing bars. There is also a lower two-storey range to the south.
