Description

Holme Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in 1845, as indicated by a plaque. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof with coped gables and stone end stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The central entrance includes a keystone and a date stone above, situated between two-storey canted bay windows designed in a 'Jacobean' style, complete with mullions and transoms. Above the ground floor windows, there are deep-cut panels adorned with shields. To the left of the entrance, there is a blocked two-light double-chamfered window at ground level.
