Description

The Gable House is a 19th-century house, originally a cross wing to Ketton Grange. It is constructed of squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a Collyweston stone slate roof. The building features stepped coped gables, one of which incorporates a sundial. It is one and a half to two storeys high, with a two-window front. Dormers with sash windows break through the eaves. The gabled end facing the street has two first-floor sash windows and, on the ground floor, a long window with Gothic tracery, alongside a 20th-century door to the right. The building is listed for group value.
