Description

Stoop Cottage is a cottage dating from approximately 1700, with a raised 19th-century section. The ground floor is constructed of rubble stone, while the first floor is brick, both finished with a whitewash. The roof is covered with corrugated plain tiles, and features brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The cottage has two storeys and four two-light casement windows on each floor. The ground-floor windows are stone mullioned, with two lights, two lights, three lights, three lights, and two lights respectively. There is a single-storey lean-to on the right-hand end. A porch and rear doors and casements are present. Inside, the cottage contains beams and two inglenooks.
