Description

The Dower House is a house from the late 17th century, constructed of rubble with an ashlar stone tiled roof. It has two storeys and features a symmetrical arrangement of three bays, with three 3-light stone mullioned leaded windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light wooden casements with ashlar lintels, flanking a moulded ashlar entry that has been altered to a window. Above this entry, there is a small oval window with ashlar dressing. The building includes ashlar quoins and coping, as well as two gable end ashlar stacks. Inside, there is a three-flight staircase with turned balusters.
