Description

No 1 is a cottage from the late 17th century located on Church Lane in Ridlington. It is built from rubble and has a thatched roof, standing at one and a half storeys high. The cottage features two casement dormers on the upper floor, with the left-hand dormer having leaded glass. On the ground floor, there are two two-light casement windows, also with leaded glass, flanking the entrance, along with a tiny window to the right. The building has three brick chimney stacks, with two made of ashlar at the gable ends and one brick stack.
