Description

This is a cottage dating to the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble and ashlar stone, with a stone-tiled roof. The cottage is built in three distinct sections. The left-hand gable end is from the early 17th century, while the central section is from the 18th century and a later gabled addition balances the earlier work. The first floor of the left-hand gable end features a stone mullioned window, followed by three two-light wooden casements with timber lintels, and a single three-light casement on the right-hand gable. The ground floor has a stone mullioned sash window, followed by two three-light casements with timber lintels flanking a stone porch, and a final three-light wooden casement. There are three brick chimney stacks.
