Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of buildings on the south side of High Street. It comprises eight houses, numbered 72 to 78, and is characterised by its good proportions. The buildings are three storeys high, constructed of red brick with a wide projecting eaves cornice made of wood. Each house has three windows, set in plain reveals. The entrances feature six-panel doors with semi-circular glazed fanlights, all set within recessed doorways with semi-circular heads. Number 78 has a four-panel door, with glass panels. The roof is slate, with a hipped profile.
