Description
No. 7 Cottesmore Road is a house dating from around 1700. It is built of coursed squared stone with stone dressings and quoins, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped at the right end. The house features a brick central ridge and left end stacks, with the left stack having a stone base, while the right end stack has been truncated.
The building has two storeys and includes four 2-light casement windows with wooden lintels. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows and a further horizontal sliding sash window to the right. A wooden flat-topped porch is located to the centre left, which has a doorway featuring a six-panelled door with glazed top panels. There is also a 2-light window on the right end. At the rear, there is a wing that has a 20th-century tiled roof, along with a porch, windows, and a door.
