Description
No. 12 Main Street is a former pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with a roof of Collyweston stone slates, featuring coped gables and ridge and end stacks with twin shafts set diagonally.
The building is one and a half storeys high, with a 1-1-1 window arrangement. A central gabled projection has a shallow bay window on the first floor, and two round-headed casement windows on the ground floor. These are flanked by three-light rectangular windows incorporating a central round-headed casement opening, each with a keystone above. Two gabled dormers, each containing a two-light casement window, light the upper floor. Entrances are located to the sides of the building.
