Description

The Old School is a cottage that was originally a schoolroom built in 1834 with financial support from the National and County Societies. Constructed from coursed rubble, it features a hipped roof made of Collyweston stone slate. The building is one storey high and has two casement windows with cambered heads and cills. To the right, there is a door set in a lower projection that has a half hipped roof. On the left, there is a recessed one storey gabled projection with one window. The cottage has two chimney stacks located at the rear. It is included in the listing for its group value.
