Description

Nos 6 and 7 Main Street are a pair of cottages built in the mid 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared rubble and feature roofs made of Collyweston stone slate. The cottages have a central ridge stack with four shafts set diagonally. They are one and a half storeys high and have a single front. Each cottage has doors that open outward in gabled porches topped with finials. The ground floor windows are three-light casements set within four-centred-arched recesses that include keystones and a moulded band above. Additionally, there are steeply-pitched gabled dormers with round-headed two-light casements.
