Description
Hurstbourne Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone, which is whitewashed on the front, and features a thatched roof. The cottage has a left end rebuilt buff brick stack and a right end stack made of moulded stone and brick. It is 1½ storeys high and has two 2-light eyebrow dormers above two 2-light casements, which have leaded panes. There is a 20th-century door and porch with a thatched roof. To the right, there is a single-storey wing that has a similar casement and a 3-light window with a 2-light casement above on the right end gable.
