Description

School House, originally a school, dates from 1864. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with a stone plinth, stone dressings, and a Collyweston slate roof topped by moulded stone end stacks. Stone coped gables with kneelers are present. The front elevation features a single storey with two three-light stone mullion windows, each with a hood mould. A central Tudor arched doorway has a likely original door. Above the doorway is a stone tablet carved with a coat of arms and the date 1864. A 20th-century stone garage with a door is attached to the right end. The entrance passage is paved with stone flags.
