Description

No. 22 Well Cross is a cottage dating from the 18th century, which was heightened in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features quoins, with roofs made of Welsh and Collyweston slate, along with stone and buff brick end stacks. The building has two storeys, originally designed as one and a half storeys, and includes two 2-light casement windows on the front. There is a central part-glazed door. At the rear right, there is a two-storey wing that has a Collyweston slate roof and a rendered end stack, along with additional 2-light casements. Inside, there is a chamfered beam.
