Description
Leamington House is a building that was originally two cottages, now combined into one dwelling. It dates from the late 18th century, although it may have earlier origins. The structure is made of coursed rubble with brick gables and features a Welsh slate roof that is coped to the west, along with brick end stacks. The eastern cottage has three storeys, with a 19th-century part-glazed flush-panelled door on the right, framed by a wooden architrave and hood. There are various sash and casement windows located beneath timber lintels, arranged in an irregular pattern. The western cottage is lower, consisting of two storeys, and has a 19th-century flush-panelled door with a tall overlight on the right. It also features sash windows and fixed lights, which are irregularly spaced.
