Description

The barn at Leigh Lodge is a small structure, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar quoins and features a corrugated iron roof, which may have replaced the original thatch. The gable walls are made of brick. Each of the main elevations has a small doorway at the lower end, topped with heavy timber lintels. Additionally, there are two windows in the gable wall and triangular ventilation holes.
