Description
Woodlane Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably dating from the mid 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a slate roof and has two storeys in a T-plan layout. The stem of the T features a renewed three-light casement window on each floor on the inner face. The west wing has a central doorway that is now blocked and features a four-centred arch with a hood-mould, along with a casement window on each side. The right-side windows have been renewed on both floors, while the lower left window retains a chamfered timber lintel. The building has coped gables, as well as old brick gable and axial stacks. An insurance sign is located on the west gable wall. The rear wall contains various casement windows and two doorways, one leading onto a through passage, suggesting that the farmhouse may have once been two separate dwellings.
