Description

Ivy House is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features large stepped stones in the coped gable. The building is two storeys high and has a two-unit plan. To the left, there is a full-height canted ashlar bay that contains inserted wood casements, although the stone hoodmould remains. To the right, a three-light casement on the ground floor has an incised keystone in the string course that forms its head. Above this, there is a six-light sash window with an incised keystone and quoins. The gable has new windows, and there are brick gable and axial stacks.
