Description

The Grange is an 18th-century house with associated walls. The house is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins, and has a 20th-century tile roof with stone and brick stacks in both the central and left-hand positions. A wing projects forward on the left-hand side. The original front of the house faces the rear, and features an entrance in an angle, with two fire marks above it. The front has two storeys with four two-light casement windows on the upper floor, and similar casements and French windows on the ground floor. Running along Church Lane from the left end of the house are walls constructed of coursed rubble stone with a Collyweston slate cope, standing approximately 2 to 3 metres high.
