Description
The Whipper-in Hotel is a rambling building composed of two parts, dating from the late 16th or early 17th century on the left side and early 18th century on the right. It stands two storeys high with attics, featuring a plain double roof covered in Collyweston tiles. The left side includes a two-storey bay with a five-light mullioned window made of stone, along with two other mullioned windows, one hung sash window, and a dormer. There is a central coach arch with a wooden lintel. The right side, built in the early 18th century, has two three-light sash windows with straight arches and keystones, and is made of painted brick.
