Description

Yew Tree Farmhouse is a house dated 1788, located at the base of the stack. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone tiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with a central door set in a leaded porch. It includes three-light casement windows that have shallow flat arched heads with stressed keystones. The house also has three hipped gabled dormers and gable stacks that are moulded and chamfered. The gables are made up of large stepped stones. There is a lower wing at the rear of the house, which may be older than the main structure.
