Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1685, indicated by the initials W over M E on the chimney stack. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a Collyweston stone slate roof, with coped gables and twin moulded stone end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics.
On the south front, the ground floor includes a 4-light casement window beneath a cornice and a 20th-century window beneath a timber lintel. The first floor has four 2-light casement windows with overlights, all beneath timber lintels. There are also two 2-light gabled casement dormers. The entrance is located at the rear.
The west end features a basement window with two lights in a raised and chamfered architrave, along with a blocked 2-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned window on the ground floor. A similar 3-light window can be found in the wing to the northwest.
