Description
Bulwell Dovecote is a dovecote built in the late 17th century and restored around 1985. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables and kneelers. The building is two storeys high and has a single bay in an L-plan layout. The central doorway is flanked on the left by a window and on the right by a smaller window, all of which are boarded. Above these openings is a single flight hole with an alighting shelf.
Inside, the first floor contains brick and plaster nest boxes with round-arched openings. The ground floor was originally used as a stable and later converted into a cart shed.
