Description
Numbers 1, 2, and 3 Bagnall Cottages are a row of three miners' cottages, originally part of four, built around 1800 and altered around 1984. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with brick dressings and feature a pantile roof with a Staffordshire blue tile margin. The building is two stories high and has a five-window range. On the left side, there are two plastic framed windows, while the right side has three renewed glazing bar casements, all with rendered lintels. There are three gabled wooden porches and doors, dating from the late 20th century, which also have blue tile roofs. The upper level has similar window arrangements. At the right end of the property, there is a curved boundary wall made of coursed squared stone with rubble coping, approximately 5 meters long.
