Description

This is a K6 type telephone kiosk, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It stands opposite Newcastle House on the north side of Castle Boulevard, Nottingham. The kiosk is constructed of cast iron, and is square in shape with a domed roof. It features unperforated crowns to the top panels and margin glazing to the windows and door. It was made by various contractors.
