Description
Sneinton Vicarage is a vicarage built in 1843, constructed from brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It features a Tudor Revival style with a plinth, coped gables with kneelers, and has two external gable stacks and a single side wall stack, some of which are set diagonally. The building is two storeys plus attics and has an L-plan layout with two sets of three bays.
The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes with stone surrounds and mullions. The entrance front, facing west, includes a central Tudor arched door with a mullioned overlight, flanked on the right by an external stack and on the left by a window. Above the entrance, there are two windows, and above that, a through-eaves dormer. To the left, there is a lower service range with a single bay that has a two-light window and a through-eaves dormer above it.
The right return, facing south, features a projecting gable with a window on each floor to the left, and a square bay window from around 1860 with plain sashes to the right. Above this bay window, there is another window, and above that, a through-eaves gabled dormer.
Inside, the vicarage has a wooden open-well staircase, moulded cornices, chamfered round arches, and four-panel doors.
