Description

Woodthorpe Lodge, now a block of flats, was built around 1820, with later 19th-century additions and restoration work completed in 1982. It is constructed of stucco with a hipped slate roof and features three coped stacks. The property includes a plinth and consists of a two-storey, three-window range at the front, which faces east. This section features three tall sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, and three smaller sash windows above. A rear wing, located to the left, is also two-storied and displays a two-by-two window arrangement with plain sashes, as well as a doorway at the return angle. The right-hand return elevation has three windows on each floor. The building is listed for its group value.
