Description
Nos 3 and 5 Market Place are early 19th-century buildings featuring a stuccoed exterior and a slate roof with gabled ends. They stand three storeys tall and have three sash windows with glazing bars and sills. Above the shop fronts, there is a continuous wide cornice and frieze. To the right, there are two original splayed shop windows, although most of the glazing bars are missing, along with a central doorway and rectangular fanlight. On the left, there is a Victorian shop front with round-headed lights, thin round mullions, and pilasters. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 9 (odd) and No 10 Hotel Street.
