Description
Bedehouse Towpath Bridge is a towpath bridge built in 1887. It features a steel structure supported by blue brick engineering brick abutments that have ashlar coping. The abutments are battered and curved, with the northern side having a shallow sloping curved embankment that extends below the bridge. The central span of the bridge consists of two fishbelly girders with a riveted openwork lattice design, which supports a curved tarmacked footpath.
