Nos 177 to 183 on Village Street is an early 19th-century cottage range that has been largely converted into small shops. The building is constructed of painted brick and stands two stories high. It features two sash windows and three renewed sash windows, all of which have glazing bars. There are two plain doorways with cantered heads. The roof is slate and hipped on the left-hand side.
