Description
185 and 187 Village Street are 18th-century buildings that have undergone later alterations. They are constructed with modern roughcast and rise to two storeys. The front features one stone mullioned window, two sash windows on the ground floor, and one restored small modern casement window. The plain doorway has a segmental head and a flush-panelled door, while the eaves display a dog-tooth design and the roof is tiled. Number 187 includes a casement window and a plain doorway on its gabled end. The buildings are situated above the road, accessible by stone steps from the side. Numbers 177 to 189 form a group.
