Description
No. 220 Doncaster Road is an early to mid-19th century villa that is plain yet well-proportioned. The building is two stories high and features three windows. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a first-floor cill band. The roof is hipped and slated with a moderate pitch, and there are two ridge stacks. The eaves cornice is moulded and stepped. The sash windows have plain reveals and delicate glazing bars, with each window being four panes wide. There are two steps leading up to a prostyle Tuscan porch. To the left, there is a set-back wing of equal age, but it has been altered and is not considered of interest.
