HAREWOOD CHURCH LANE SE3144 (south side, off) 14/66 Headstone to Sarah Roberts approx. 5m north of middle of south boundary wall of graveyard surrounding the Church of All Saints

Headstone. c1801. Ashlar. Has arched head decoratively carved with foliage surrounding patterae. Good lettering. Commemorates "Sarah wife of Joseph Roberts of Calverley-Bridge" who died 21st June 1801 aged 37. Has plaintive verse: "Why do ye mourn departing Friends? Or shake at Death's alarms? Tis but the Voice that Jesus sends To call me to his Arms".
