Description
The Lodge is a building dating from around 1903, designed for Henry Barran as the lodge to Shadwell Grange. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features grey slate hipped roofs. The building is one and a half storeys high and consists of two bays, showcasing a Classical Revival style. On the right side, there is a single-storey timber porch supported by Ionic columns in antis, which holds up a flat roof. To the left, there is a canted bay window in a projecting bay, and above it, a dormer with a segmental pediment. A tall corniced stack is located at the center of the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
