Description

Three houses, located on Potter Newton Lane in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a 20th-century tile roof. The houses are two storeys high with a basement, each having two bays and an entrance on the right side. Each entrance is framed by a pilastered doorcase with a cornice, and has an overlight with glazing bars above a panelled door. Number 80, on the right-hand side, has four-pane sash windows throughout. Numbers 82 and 84 feature 20-pane sashes to the ground floor and 12 and 16-pane sashes to the first floor, with a continuous sill band running along the front. A decorative modillion cornice runs along the eaves. Tall brick stacks are situated on the ridge to the left of each house. The interiors have not been inspected.
