Description

Two grave slabs, memorials to Thomas and Dorothy Casson, are located approximately 20 metres southeast of the porch of the Church of St Michael. The slabs date from around 1667 and 1734. The ashlar memorial for Dorothy Casson features a decoratively carved base with raspberries and leaves. The memorial for Thomas Casson displays good lettering within a shield border, along with carved medallions at the head and a decorative initial letter.
