Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of three houses, numbers 69, 71, and 73, along with an attached front garden wall and gate piers. The houses are constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a slate roof, featuring long and short quoins. Each house has two storeys and six windows on the first floor. The front door of each house is panelled, with an overlight and a cornice supported by brackets. The windows have slightly projecting tri-stone jambs, with 10-pane casements. The window frame to number 69 has been altered. Corniced ridge stacks are located to the right of each house. The front garden wall is approximately 1.2 metres high, has a pointed coping, and encloses the gardens. It is accompanied by monolithic gate piers with stepped pyramid caps. Details such as the quoins and architraves are similar to those found at numbers 1-8 Alma Cottages. The interior has not been inspected.
