Description
This building is an outbuilding located between numbers 2 and 3 Alma Cottages in Headingley, Leeds. It dates from around 1860 and has been altered in the 20th century. Constructed from coursed squared gritstone, it features a slate roof. The outbuilding is a single-storey structure made up of three bays, with canted corners and a projecting central entrance on the north side, as well as another entrance on the west side. Designed in the Gothic Revival style, it has shouldered arches above the doorways and single-light windows, some of which are blocked or blind, all with quoined surrounds that match the cottages. A crenellated parapet sits above a moulded string course. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with the nearby cottages.
