Description
Wothersome Grange Farmhouse is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from finely dressed stone and features a Welsh blue-slate roof. The building has a symmetrical facade with a doorway that includes a glazed fanlight above it. On either side of the doorway are sash windows with projecting sills, all set under flat arches. The eaves are deep and oversailing, and the hipped roof has two ashlar stacks on the rear pitch.
Inside, the entrance and stair hall features a staircase with turned balusters and a ramped handrail. The doorways that lead off from this area have six-panel doors framed by architrave surrounds. There are also two simple carved wooden fireplace surrounds made by Dick Reid from York.
The farmhouse is part of the Bramham Park Estate.
