Description
The stone nymph is located in a diamond-shaped opening of the avenue that runs west from the chapel at Bramham Park. This statue, likely from the early 18th century, is made of magnesian limestone and stands on a square pedestal that is approximately two meters high. The pedestal features carved trophies on its side panels and has a prominent moulded cap. The life-sized statue depicts a draped female figure stepping forward and casting with her right arm.
