Description

No. 2 Marsh Street is an 18th-century house constructed of sandstone ashlar with a slate roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with four bays. The building features rusticated long-and-short quoins and a decorative band. The vertical rectangular windows are set in raised surrounds with keystones, and there is a doorway in the third bay that matches the window surrounds. A moulded stone eaves cornice adds to the architectural detail, and there is a chimney located at the left gable.
